The development
Flamingo Country Club is a stunning new development situated in Tuzla and close to Bogazici village. This is a privileged location in many ways. Set on green slopes that rise to a crest of land with the Tuzla lake on one side and the sea on the other, the site looks out over the lake and beyond, and a picturesque mountain panorama rolls into the misty distance. Flamingo Country Club is the first of its kind in Turkey with a private golf course, driving range, clubhouse, beauty centre, amphitheatre and private beach club. It is only 10 minutes' from the airport and within five minutes of brand new 18 and 9-hole golf courses. It is five minutes from the beach, with the new cable car that is being built up the hill. There is also a regular shuttle bus from Flamingo Country Club to Bodrum.
The properties
Flamingo Country Club consists of one and two-bedroom apartments and villas, built in a beautiful setting with golf, sea, forest and lake views, set on 160,000 sq metres of land. There will be nine different types of apartments, varying in size, orientation and location. One-bedroom, one-bathroom apartments are all 45 sq metres in size. Two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartments are sized from 52 sq metres to 67 sq metres. Two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments are sized from 60 sq metres to 74 sq metres. Terraces and solariums range from 12 sq metres to 92 sq metres, and gardens are from 50 sq metres to 368 sq metres.
The area
The Tuzla lake and its extensive wetlands lie at the end of a deep inlet from the Gulf of Gulluk and Mandalya Bay. The site is unique as it is where the lake unites with the sea. Embraced by rolling mountains covered with a rich combination of wild shrubs, olive groves, Pine and Tamarisk trees, this is perhaps one of the most beautiful locations in Turkey. There is a small fishing village of Bogazici that nestles on the shores of Mandalya Bay. The village holds an important place in history as the site of the ancient city of Bargilia. Today, a few fish restaurants fringe the seafront offering the day's fresh catch and other Aegean specialities. Original old stone houses line the road and testify Turkey’ s traditional village life.
